Prizes:
Editor's Choice: $75 CAD
Reader's Choice: $75 CAD

Guidelines
There are two components to the Wax Poetry and Art World's Best Poem
Contest: Editor's Choice and Reader's Choice.

World's Best Poem: Editor's Choice
Wax Poetry and Art publisher and editor, Kirk Ramdath, will select his
favourite of all contest winning poems from 2017. That poem will be
awarded the title of World's Best Poem 2017, and the authoring poet will
receive a cash prize of $75 CAD. The poem will be republished as the
World's Best Poem and for approximately one year, will be viewable at
www.worldsbestpoem.com. The poem will be prominently archived and
freely accessible to everyone, perpetually.

World's Best Poem: Reader's Choice
The Reader's Choice award will be awarded for the poem that is read by
the most people during the specified reading period, as tracked by Google
Analytics. Poets will be encouraged to use all means necessary to
encourage friends and family to read and share their poem during the
reading period. Tentatively, the reading period is scheduled for April 2018,
to coincide with National Poetry Month in many nations. The winning poem
will be republished as the World's Best Poem: Reader's Choice, and a prize
of $75 will be awarded. The poem will be prominently archived and
freely accessible to everyone, perpetually.

Each prize wins 1 print copy of a letter containing the contest winners.
Additional copies can be purchased. Details will be provided to the winners.
It is possible for one poem to win both prizes.

More details will be provided soon. Join the email list below the menu on the
left side of the page for updates.
