The Diss:
You just don’t know
Cue the eruption
The anger of denial
Up is an action
It takes work to get there

If dis’ means “to not”
Then shall we ‘rupt a little more?
Let’s all add caveats
To our sentences
That is to say,
At this time

It is merely a disturbance
So we’ll have to dare,
This close to the edge
We might all be guilty
And these accusations
Are like arrows to hearts

You insult me
With talk of disaster
These flowers of hell
Blooming past seasons
When in the wintertime
Not one of you cared

Tamara Best lives in a little house in the big woods down a sunny
dirt road deep in bear country where all the flowers have gone, long
time passing.
