Of What Use is Freedom?

Of what use is freedom?
I care little for it
A dream of spun glass
Easily shattered.
I want my dreams to be

Steel in the snow
Winter-cold with none of
that whimsical, fairytale-gold

The world is too harsh
and I am too tired to hope.
