Music Box

Every note,
pulling at my heart strings,
like chords on an upright bass,
Every song,
rewinding me back to a place
That no longer exists.
Every playlist,
Named for a woman,
an ode to ghosts
of relationships past

Excerpt from the poem, "Music Box".
Read and hear the poetry and spoken word.
