John Biggs
I'm a broad spectrum fiction writer looking for a genre. Fifty (and
counting) of my short stories have been published in magazines and
anthologies ranging from literary (
Midwestern Gothic, Kansas City
, Open Road Review) to Horror (Chiral Mad 2, Cadavers, The
Shadow Masters
). I've had some luck with prizes including grand prize
winner 80th annual
Writers Digest Competition, 3rd prize 2011 Lorian
Hemingway short story contest, and quite a few you haven't heard of.
My first novel,
OWL DREAMS was released last year by Pen-L
Publishing and my second,
POPSICLE STYX will be coming out this

Mitchell Krockmalnik Grabois
Mitchell Krockmalnik Grabois’ poems and fictions have appeared in
hundreds of literary magazines in the U.S. and abroad. He is a regular
contributor to
The Prague Revue, and has been thrice nominated for
the Pushcart Prize. His novel,
Two-Headed Dog, based on his work as
a clinical psychologist in a state hospital, is available for 99 cents from
Kindle and Nook, or as a print edition.

Lori Hahnel
Descended from a long line of music lovers, Lori Hahnel is the author
of three previous collections of fiction including
Nothing Sacred
(Thistledown, 2009), which was shortlisted for the Alberta Literary
Award for fiction. Her writing has been published across North
America and in the U.K.; her credits include CBC Radio,
, Prairie Fire, and Room. During the early days of
Calgary's punk scene, Hahnel was a founding member of The Virgins,
a power-pop punk group that carved its place in Calgary rock history
as the city's first all-female band. Today Lori teaches creative writing
at Mount Royal University and The Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society,
where she served as writer-in-residence in 2013. She has also been
writer-in-residence for Alberta branch of the Canadian Authors
Association, and is a co-founder and participant in Calgary’s Writing
in the Works reading series. She lives in Calgary with her husband
and sons.

Lauren Peterson
I am more of a hobby photographer, not necessarily professional as
of right now. I am taking classes to finish my Photography Certificate
of Completion from Mount Royal. I am always loved photography,
whether it was taking pictures or just going through picture after picture
of other photographer's photos. I love taking photographs and learning
about how to do it well and more creatively.

Hermine Robinson
Hermine Robinson lives and writes in Western Canada, where the
winters are long and inspiration is plentiful. She loves everything
about short fiction and she refuses to be the place where perfectly
good characters, scenes and plots come to languish. Her work has
appeared in
Readers' Digest (Canada), Vine Leaves Literary Journal,
Postcard Shorts and Burning Word Literary Journal. She is married
with two children, and most people know her by her nickname Minkee.
