About Special Projects
Wax Poetry and Art Special Projects are intended to produce meaningful
collections that illuminate the creative work of contributing artists.
Submissions are open to residents of Canada only.
Currently, we are not able to provide compensation for publishing accepted
Wax Poetry and Art welcomes proposals for Special Projects from
prospective editors. Proposals should include a title, a project description of
150 words or less, and a current C.V., including a short biography.
Proposals can be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a
great idea for a Special Project but do not wish to be involved as editor,
send the project description only.
Wax Poetry and Art Special Projects are the property of Wax Poetry and
Art. Copyright of individual works remains with the original artist at all times.
We reserve the right to make whichever edits are deemed necessary for
publication to occur.
Wax Poetry and Art reserves all rights regarding the publication of the
Special Project as a whole, as comprised of the accumulation of submissions
to the Special Project. Although great autonomy will be conferred unto
editors regarding Special Projects they have proposed, Wax Poetry and Art
retains the final say regarding which pieces are published, the final form of
published pieces, and when the Special Project is open for submissions. In
the case that a Special Project editor is unable or unwilling to continue their
duties, Wax Poetry and Art may continue the Special Project by assuming
editorship or appointing a new editor. Wax Poetry and Art reserves the right
to terminate the editorship of any person who we have reason to believe has
behaved in a manner which is considered harmful to this magazine, or to
persons submitting to working for this magazine and related publications.
