The Parrot / Poem
by Émilie Parks
if i want to be a great poem about a parrot
but i don’t write any parrots i would know a thing about,
any thing would be great
if i know a parrot to write
to want to poem any great thing,
a parrot would know to be
a poem about a want to write
about a poem a parrot writes
any thing poem don’t know to be
a great to know but if I don’t
write of thing about a poem,
“don’t parrot” would be a thing:
if i, poem, would write a great,
i would parrot any thing i know.
