White Icing on Cake

by Jesus Chameleon

White icing on cake glowed with deliciousness---
Not very hungry for more brightness,
Eluded by
Absence.  Standing
With the glistening moon on palm fronds
Provided candles for solace.
No.  Maybe not triteness, hopefully, lightness,
Never slur.

Thrown from the center of compassionate warmth,
Things that could not be said;
How much for the little Indian bateaux?  Or,
Is this your house?
No.  Not because of secrecy, planned piracy, or
Even conceit!

Security built upon a cloudy alpha, a rowdy omega,
Exacerbated the total lack of concern,
Return, discernment about
A drifting feeling;
Mobility without planning, only threat.  Erect,
Directly piercing the heart,
Aimed at the heel, the wheel,
Climbing, minding, winding,
For more atrocity,
Yes,
Comity, amity, vanity,
Less resolve.
