Out to Get Some Air

by Joe Bisicchia
(Marlton, New Jersey, USA)

You and me,
here we are to the side of a tire
plucking weeds, savoring a Florida flat,
short sleeves,
and all that air spilling out everywhere.
On the way to Jupiter, we have stopped
to breathe.
You and me, and life is perfect.
