Biography
Constantinos N. Makris is a psychologist and psychotherapist based in Cyprus. He writes short fiction and poetry
inspired by history, memory, and identity, often weaving together the personal and the political. His work explores
the intersections of trauma, belonging, and resilience in post-conflict societies. In addition to his clinical work,
he has a passion for literature and the arts, viewing writing as both creative expression and a form of cultural preservation.
"Zodia Butchery" is part of an ongoing creative exploration of Cyprus's divided landscape and the persistence of hope amidst fracture.
