Alan D. Parker was poet in residents at Winners Friend comping magazine in the noughties. December 2024, published 366 A Leap Year Haiku on Amazon after being challenged to write a years worth of Haiku by his daughter Rosamond, (who also painted the artwork for the book). Is an active member of a local poetry group and regularly performs at open mic events
