Biography
Kim Goldberg is the author of 8 books of poetry and nonfiction, including her most recent poetry collection,
Devolution (Caitlin Press). She enjoys exploring back roads and hidden trails and spending time at the range
where she helps other women enter the world of firearms. She eschews tribalism and values authentic thought
and utterance, even when it results in collective repudiation. Kim lives in Nanaimo, BC, where she co-hosts
a monthly open mic night (Free Play Cafe) since 2023 that is a home to artistic free expression and rebuilding community.
