Shaheer Daniyal's Artist Page

Biography
My name is Shaheer Daniyal, and I am a student from Pakistan. I write poetry that explores trauma, identity, and survival. I write poetry because it feels the most true to me, I love the images it creates and the truth it unveils about the human condition and environment. The long stretch of short moments into dramatic poems is my favourite thing to do. Often my work takes a darker turn but I do whatever it takes to discover what the poem needs and what my message is, and stay true to the craft. This is my first international poetry submission.
