Young Poets World is a network of international poetry magazines for poets 18 years of age and under, and the home of the Young Poets World Cup.
Young Poets World is part of waxpoetryart.com – the website for people who love poetry, art, photography, fiction, and plays.
Rolling Submissions (New!)
- Submissions are open all year.
- Submissions will receive acceptances or expire within one month.
There will not be a direct rejection notice; submissions will expire instead, after one month (30 days).
- Submissions may sometimes be offered publication later than one month.
In that case, the publication will query the availability of the work.
- Poems will now be published individually on a rolling basis,
instead of on specific, pre-determined dates.
Young Poets World Submission Opportunities
Everyone on Earth who is 18 years of age and under at the time of submission can submit three poems each month to these three opportunities,

Young Poets World Cup Qualification
Every poem accepted and published in all Young Poets World publications qualifies for entry into the Young Poets World Cup.
All poems will compete for the
Young Poets World Cup that will happen the next year after publication, on January 15th.
All publications qualify, and the top qualifiers (based on readers) will be noted on the
Young Poets World Cup web page at the beginning of the contest.
Young Poets World is published in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada by Florencia Bay Books. Edited and designed by Kirk Ramdath. Nanaimo is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation of the Coast Salish Peoples.
