I write to express what I feel When I do not know how to deal With the never ending agony, called life I’m in a fight with myself, a strife I write about my scars, Can you see them bleed? When I’m stuck behind bars, And no one pays heed I write when I feel alone, There’s an empty void in my heart On a busy street I stand unknown Always the second choice, playing a small part I write to let go of my fears, To spill everything on my mind, My eyes filled with tears, I keep falling, the ending undefined I write because it takes me to a different world, It heals me inside, makes me feel heard I write not to be known, But to know the voice within my soul
