The Great Canadian Poetry Road Trip is edited and designed by Kirk Ramdath. Published in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada by Florencia Bay Books. Nanaimo is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation of the Coast Salish Peoples.
A new issue of The Great Canadian Poetry Road Trip will be published in the Journal three times per year,on January 15th, May 15th, and September 15th. Submissions are now open for the debut issue, set to launch on May 15th, 2026.
To ensure that submissions come from everywhere in Canada, The Great Canadian Poetry Road Trip is proud to open thirteen new poetry magazines – one for each province and territory in Canada. Choose the publication for where you live and submit by January 14th, 2026 for publication in the debut issue.
