Sign

by Vivian Zenari
(Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)

Rolling foothills of pasture
brake at a green ridge from which
rise the Three Sisters to
hide the cure of the horizon

St. Mary Reservoir &
Exxon

signs direct traffic
spruce trees flow around
roadside cafes, rest stops, parking lots,
all things necessary
