Faith Scrolling on the Street

by Thapelo Matemana

All gender fill up the street
Stepping on it when the sun rise
Searching opportunities left and right
Babies in back of their mothers
To be dropped at school
To find education light
Nobody chilling under the sun
Nobody waiting right time to come
All they bite every opportunity
Any chance to put bread on the table
No one sleep without hope
Failing to make it today
Tomorrow will make better
Life is challenging at the streets of South Africa
Mother wipes her daughter's tears
Father comfort his son
Believe life is a wheel
One day, things will be right
