Talking to God by the Shower Curtain

by Dan Flore III

one time I thought He was bathing and didn't want to disturb Him
shows you how screwed up I am
all I can relate to is stupid earthly things like that
in the Bible it says the site of God is hazy
that makes sense
I see His haze right now as I stand by the shower curtain
I choose that to talk to Him by, 'cause it's sorta like a confessional
Hey, I say, could you get me some money please
and my heart's out of whack
it's stuck to my sick head

then I say, Amen
and wonder if He laughed when I talked about interrupting Him bathing
He could probably use a good laugh
I know I could
