Susan Sim's Artist Page

Biography
My name is Susan Sim, and I'm a high school student. I was born in Yellowknife, and raised in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. Growing up in the North has shaped who I am and how I see the world. In my free time, I enjoy babysitting my siblings, working at our CO-OP, and walking around town. These activities give me time to think and connect with others. Poetry means a great deal to me because it allows me to express feelings I sometimes cannot put into words. It is something I turn to when I want to understand myself better, and I am still discovering what it means to me every day.
