Gun shots are exploding in my ear, Anxiousness rises up in the air, I feel the sweat as I held up my gun, Ready to fight when the enemies come. Hiding behind an old dead tree, I see brave soldiers trembling like me, What if instead, guns and bombs Are replaced by kindness and calm? Thought about my family and friends, Imagining them worried to death, I close my eyes as tears ran down, Peacefulness forever forgotten and gone. As a boom of gun shot and I fall, Wake up in the hospital seeing my parents beside the wall, Ignoring the pain of my injured shoulder, I gave them a huge hug and burst into tears.
