Love: By the One Who's Never Fallen in Love

I read somewhere that,
Love is supposed to give you wings.
Not trap you in a cage.
And it got me thinking that,
Being loved is an art to be praised.
And loving someone, even greater.
It got me thinking that,
Love can sometimes appear melancholic, appear sad. 
But you can't help where your heart beats.
It got me thinking that,
Love is not holding hands or dancing in the rain.
Its more than that.
Its something that someone can never put in words. 
Its something that someone can never express enough.
Its something that someone can think about all day and night.
Its something that someone can never give up.
Its something that someone can never write correctly about.
Its something that someone can only feel once. With only one person.
And a person that has never fallen in love would not understand this.
And now I lay down on my bed, 
staring at the ceiling,
As I think to myself and wish for my self to never be in love or be loved.
Or maybe its all just a lie.
