Dear naanu, you call me your little doll But now I don't feel little anymore I play neither with dolls, nor with any ball Fears have grown, and I hesitate to open any door Balloons and bubbles don't fascinate me Instead, sellers grab all my attention I guess life is preparing me to become thee And feel everything in every way, every dimension You still see ribbons on my hair While I count wrinkles on your face And often I wonder why life is so unfair Now I am at the point of tying your shoelace The way you used to, and held my hand Take me with you and make my day You showed me how to acquire steps and stand as high as I can; to show your love, this was the way.
