Drenched in Your Hues

by Vasundhara Srivastava

How could I ever fall for another?
When these eyes breathe only you.
Even if the world bleaches their pigments,
They remain drenched — longing for you.

How dreamily you conquer my mind,
Like a pearl dropped into the ocean.
I'm smeared in your hues—
Veiled and aligned,
Lost in an enchantment;
No other will ever find.
