I Will Let You Lead Me

I will let you lead me.
I lay my spirit upon your open palm,
Offering all that I once feared to hold.
I give you both brilliance and splendor,
And surrender the gentle tremor of my fears.
 
Choose the melody,
And bid the orchestra to awaken its song,
And guide me.
The room shall bloom into ours,
Even amidst a thousand wandering souls.
While our footsteps trace each other tirelessly,
You shall whisper the verse of your favorite song.
 
Command the moment to linger.
Let us freeze this instant in full, radiant splendor,
While we remain near,
Separated by no more than a single, fleeting breath.
