Publisher, Editor, and Designer
Kirk Ramdath is the publisher, editor, and designer of London Poetry Magazine and the Wax Poetry and Art Network of publications. After Kirk organized dozens of poetry and music events in the city of Calgary, he shifted his focus as an organizer from the stage to the online page. Wax Poetry and Art was launched in 2010. Kirk's first book, Love in a Handful of Dust, was published in print by Frontenac House in 2011, and republished online in 2017 by Wax Poetry and Art. He has performed poetry in many Canadian cities including Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Halifax. Kirk was born in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Canada at the age of 10. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English with Distinction from the University of Calgary.
