Shakespeare's Pen: International Contest – First Place

Yet

by Stephen G. Lloyd

Continual
In manifest

Body
Moving slow.

All my head
A closing thought

Unwanted
That obeys.

Glissando
Reaching up

Inside
My throat.

Swallowing
All sentience.

The halo.
