The River of Tears

by Mykyta Ryzhykh
(Nova Kakhovka, Kherson, Ukraine)

lack of letters
to describe the river
flowing backwards

cold knees are silent
watery eyes
water becomes tears

the river
of tears
continues
to flow
invisibly
inaudibly
