by Imorgan Oliphant
In the shadows I dwell, where darkness veils the soul,
A symphony of despair, where anguish takes its toll.
Whispered secrets of sorrow, echo through the night,
Where pain and misery dance, in the absence of light.
Beneath a moonless sky, where hope has ceased to be,
A haunting melody of grief, resonates within me.
The stars, they weep in silence, shedding tears of black,
As darkness wraps its tendrils, around the world's cracked facade.
In the depths of my despair, where nightmares come alive,
A tapestry of anguish, where lost souls strive to survive.
The echoes of forgotten dreams, reverberate in my mind,
As I navigate this labyrinth of despair, searching for a sign.
In this realm of shadows, where sadness finds its home,
I wander through the darkness, feeling eternally alone.
Yet amidst the gloom, a flicker of light remains,
A glimmer of hope, despite the chains.
So let the darkness shroud me, in its somber embrace,
For within these depths, I find solace in this desolate space.
In the depths of despair, where shadows intertwine,
I'll find beauty in darkness, and I will let my spirit shine.
