Years

by Rachelle Super

When you are young you look forward,
With all your time ahead.
None so greater as these alone,
Where love and joy have led.

When you are older you look back,
The simple days of fun and play.
All left in the past,
All there to stay.

When many days have asked,
Are set down to lay.
