Angela Poetry Contest #2 – First Place

as a giant, transparent gander or loose and luminous as the moon hanging in the clear blue sky of day or clouds towering above the arc of earth that they constantly traverse? Do they hear the word telling them when, spoken softly like one of the ten commandments, vibrating like thunder or the flapping of humongous wings, the simple call to migrate again and again, quivering, bellowing that barbaric universal honk?
