Biography
Biff Rushton is an East Texas poet/songwriter/painter. With no formal college degree, he’s cultivated
a lifelong love for the written word, drawing inspiration from lived experience and the beauty in the world around him.
For the past twenty years, Biff has worked 14-hour days in oilfields of Texas, where conservative, rightwing “bros” and endurance is life. Yet, he finds solace in poetry, often having to hide in a porta-potty to write/read.
His poetry reflects his unique perspective, his passion, and his dedication to craft, while his voice, forged from life experience, resonates with an authenticity that stands as a testament to life experience and self taught artistry. Substack: solbluesol.substack.com
