Biography
Shinsaku Ashida is a Japanese poet with over 130 poems published in various newspapers, magazines, contests,
and literary festivals across Japan.
His work – including haiku and tanka – has been featured in Down in the Dirt, Neologism Poetry Journal,
the Under the Basho Journal, and Trondheim Poesi Café.
Ashida's poetry sensitively delves into both contemporary and traditional themes, often exploring the intersection
of personal experiences and broader societal issues.
He believes in improving the world through submitting his works.
