Biography
Siobháin Spear is an emerging poet based in Clare, Ireland. Her work explores urgent societal issues
through witness and testimony. Siobháin's writing blends lyrical intensity with social conscience,
exploring themes of violence, displacement, and injustice. Her debut publication addressed gender-based violence;
it appeared in Chasing Shadows (an anthology edited by Noel Monahan, backed by Creative Ireland).
Her current work confronts the genocide in Gaza and the role of poetry as resistance.
