Biography
Susan Howard lives in the countryside near Matakana, with her husband, horse, donkeys, some chickens,
and assorted dogs and cats. Her working life included a short period as an occupational therapist before
taking time to have children and then twenty years as an accountant working mainly in the public sector.
She started writing poetry in 2000 while still working and on retirement she continued writing poetry and plays.
She has been published in a fine line, takahē magazine, shotglass journal (US), The Blue Nib (Aus), and was highly
commended in the Caselberg Trust Poetry Competition 2017.
