Probable Cause

by Vladyslava Manuilenko

Red trails down my shirt
Where the most recent iteration
Of foreign sun kissed me.

Pudgy, pink guts fall from my lips,
Onto wanton pages – into eager ears.
Long limbs stuffed to the brim
With screams – bursting at the seams.

I try to wipe myself clean of sin,
But all I can do
Is draw chemical sunsets from memory.
