Seasons of the Arctic Fox

by Faran Greenley

The Arctic fox shifts with the seasons,
Brown fur in the summer,
White in the winter.
White fur blends into the snow
As winter deepens – he transforms.
He trades one coat for another –
To change is to survive.
The creature masters the art of disguise,
Walking between what was and what awaits.
You never know what may become.
The season will change,
And so will you.
