When the Time Is Right

by Abioye Mahsudat

Hmmm, how nice.
You can never really tell.
Maybe that's why it's right.

The struggle and pain of today
make the success stories of tomorrow.
But your wait shall never be enough.
And it will take more time
than the big screen says.

It'll take more effort,
and effort,
and effort.

Hmmm... and guess what?
You'll never know when it'll come.
But just like the sound of lightning
finds its way to its dearest clouds,
preparation will meet opportunity.

And from there – well,
we both know what's to be.

It's never as easy either.
The top? It's an illusion.

So guess what?
You're defining it.
You're claiming it.

Because really –
who knows when the time is right?
