Diana Abdulhameed's Artist Page

Biography
Diana Abdulhameed is a multilingual Palestinian-Canadian writer, researcher, and community advocate whose work explores the intersections of grief, violence, and resilience. Trained as an engineer, and shaped by a life marked by displacement and the enduring reality of being unable to return to her ancestral land, she turns to poetry as both refuge and resistance. Her writing seeks to name what is often silenced—particularly within the intimate spaces of family and home. Writing between Canada and Egypt, Diana carries with her a lineage of survival, strength, and unspoken stories.
