Nutmeg Hill's Artist Page

Biography

My name is Nutmeg Hill, and I am an English student at Stellenbosch university. I have always had a great love for poetry, but recently I have been inspired by both surrealist political movements, such as the 1939 Egyptian Art Manifesto entitled, "Long Live Degenerate Art", and the works of modernist poets, especially T.S. Elliot. The poem I am submitting is mostly an interpretation of Nietzsche’s, "Apolline" spirit, detailed in, The Birth of Tragedy.
