It is an image of a young couple getting engaged. The man is waiting for her answer.


Painting shows a family gathered near a window. A father and mother, a daughter, and two sons. One of the boys has a ball. There is a vase and flowers on the windowsill, with fallen petals. Outside, it is raining.

It is an image of a family of five waiting for someone or something very important. Pink roses in front of the window and rain outside add meaning to the family's state of waiting.
