Anna Nike Leskowsky's Artist Page

Biography

Anna Nike Leskowsky was a journalist, a poet, and an art manager in a drama theatre in Białystok, in Poland. She designed theatre programs and a cover for her poetry booklet, Nierzeczywista (Unreal). After immigrating to Canada in 1990, she worked as an elementary school teacher until she retired in 2018. She is a self-taught artist. Her essays were published in The Toronto Star, college textbooks, Canadian Immigrant Magazine, and Canadian Teacher Magazine. Her paintings and reflections about art were featured in several issues of Canadian Art Therapy Association Online Magazine, Envisage. Anna lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
