Puzzle Pieces

If you’re the moon
I want to be the sun
If you feel like being two
I want to be the one
If you take the lead
I’ll beat the rhythm on the drum
If you tell me you don’t need me
Probably, I’ll come undone
But I would know it’s a lie
You can’t spell “institution”
Without “U” and “I”
Can’t keep a healthy distance
It's you that fills my eyes
As I lay me down to sleep
I want your body next to mine
When Storm clouds brew, and
Rain downpours
I won’t be your umbrella
But I’ll hold you in my arms, which
Will be enough to bring us
Closer to The Source
When darkness closes in around you
I will be your “On” switch
If you’re the prophesied Unstoppable Force
It's nothing to me
To become The Immovable Object
Even if it means
Our destiny’s course
Is to spend the rest of our lives
In an eternal conflict
