Poetry World Cup 2025

The Finalists

Wax Poetry and Art welcomes the world to celebrate and read the ten Finalists of the Poetry World Cup 2025.

These poems and their poets are symbols of the poetic light that shines throughout humanity, from antiquity to the present day.

These are the most-read poems from the ten most-read countries published on the Wax Poetry and Art Network in 2024. These poets' words have resonated with an international audience, and have won their nations the chance to compete for the Poetry World Cup.

The Poetry World Cup is a unique, friendly competition that everyone can participate in just by reading and enjoying these poems, and sharing your favourites. The most-read Finalist at the end of the Reading Period on April 15th, 2025 will be the winner of the Poetry World Cup. Results will be announed on May 15th, 2025.

We honour all ten Finalists and the cities, regions, and countries where they reside. Only one will be chosen as the Poetry World Cup 2025 Champion.
